Everything you wanted to
know about GZ but were (perhaps rightfully) afraid to ask…
Q: What is up with her name?
A: It's a code name. She has a true name, but half fiends tend
to be leery about sharing that kind of information with, well,
anyone. She took Ground Zero because she really loves blowing
all sorts of things up in various creative ways. Her more normal
sounding alias is Iris.
Q: Are we right in assuming
that she and Slaughter are involved in some twisted incest deal
and the mention of them as relatives is not a repeating typo?
A: Yep. They are twins. They do sleep together. He's pretty much
the only person she'll allow to be on top.
Q: Does she have a romantic
side in there somewhere?
A: Absolutely not. If someone is not bleeding, in severe pain,
or even dead when it is all over, GZ has not had a good time.
Q: What's with the big
hair?
A: She obviously does not have a curling iron in Hell. Actually,
you will notice GZ has numerous different hairstyles in the various
pictures…I could not decide on a single one, and since she
does not really ever brush her hair, hey, it works…plus I
dig that whole "Siouxsie, Robert Smith, Patricia Morrison"
look.
Q: Favorite band?
A: Korn
Q: What is her deal with
tentacle love?
A: GZ is down with the tentacle love! She is a half fiend, after
all. She's probably seen and done everything there is to do with
tentacle demons…and they are so much more versatile than
regular men, and rarely expect any sort of commitment!
Q: Um, is Ground Zero a
tentacle demon?
A: Ah, tricky tricky…yes, as a matter of fact she is. She
is truly female, but she does have tentacles, and is actually
quite fond of using them. Excavia has been known to say "Yeah,
yeah, 'Zero and her damn tentacles…I wish she would just
go fuck herself." Unfortunately for many, she far prefers
to use them on other people.
Q: If GZ did her "Legend
of the Overfiend" impression and used her tentacles to utterly
destroy a city, which one would she wipe out?
A: If you are expecting the answer to be Tokyo or Osaka, you are
wrong. GZ would gladly annihilate Philadelphia.
Q: Why does she pick on
Excavia all the time?
A: Oh, she picks on everyone all the time. Mostly she likes tormenting
Excavia because she is so different from GZ herself. 'Zero is
a terribly predatory sadist most of the time, and there is something
about Excavia…both her looks and personality, that just sets
her off. Even when they have to work together towards a common
goal, GZ is likely to take any available opportunity to do something
horrible to her.
Q: What's her sign?
A: Scorpio, of course.
